A large, varied set of chat rooms, always very busy but easy to use and jolly good fun.
Microsoft's web-based chat service has a huge selection of rooms and thousands of users online at any one time. For this reason, the quality of individual chats varies greatly, with many quickly becoming repetitive and annoying, so you may need to change rooms a few times before you find a decent one. However, in terms of speed and ease of use, MSN Chat is hard to beat, making it as simple as possible to join and leave conversations, 'whisper' to people and track-down other chatters. Best of all, many rooms are moderated so that troublemakers who swear or deliberately cause offence are kicked out.
